There’s not much I need to say about how 2020 has been. You know. Christina & Rick were originally supposed to get married in Asbury Park in June, that didn’t happen. They postponed until December… that, again, seemed like not the best option. So a big celebration is now happening in December 2021.

In the meantime, Christina & Rick decided that they 100% needed to be married ASAP, so a backyard wedding was in order. Having such a small wedding at your home makes for a very intimate and amazing experience. I know going in that everyone in attendance is incredibly important. I get to make portraits in places I know matter to them, it makes the connection to everything that much more deeper. It didn’t hurt that Christina made their back yard look better than plenty of wedding venues I’ve worked in!

One of the things I have found myself saying to couples at the end of weddings is “I wish we could do this all over again.“ In this case, we get to do this all over again!
